An Experienced Attorney With A Compassionate Approach To The Law

Whitney D. Mauk is a practiced lawyer with a compassionate heart for helping you and your children through this difficult time in your life. Her legal career began in 1999 when she received her Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. As a trial lawyer, Ms. Mauk worked in a number of litigation areas before finding her passion for family law in 2005. It was in family law that she was able to truly connect with her clients. She walks clients through sometimes tearful consultations to see them come out of the tunnel in the end, feeling more assured.

Ms. Mauk encourages her clients to take the less expensive and less stressful route to solving legal problems. With experience as both a litigator and as a registered mediator, she appreciates the value of alternative dispute resolution and when to use it.

She is active in the legal community and continually works to improve her legal knowledge. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is a former member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Board of Governors. She holds memberships in The Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law American Inn of Court and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
